To explore the confines of brain and matter, to produce inexhaustible energy, to overcome pain, to model the unreachable... many themes dear to science fiction are now a reality of today's research laboratories!

The Science Machina exhibition celebrates science and its fantastic machines. They're the source of the most extraordinary discoveries and progresses in recent years, and they continue to open the field of possibilities for the future.

To tell the story of the machine is also to look at the dialogue between man and machine, between engineering and technology. Through the image and the comic strip, discover these state-of-the-art machines!

  • Repetitive transcranial magnetic simulation
  • Microchip and micropump
  • High speed sequencer
  • Ultra-fast ultrasound scan
  • RobOtol
  • Inovagraft

Science Machina is the result of an Inserm / CEA collaboration. It makes it possible to discover research equipment of these organisms, re-imagined and drawn by about a dozen of cartoonists.
